In 1992, SCAIP began producing special transformation kits, known as the CPX Series, to convert pipelayers typically equipped with mechanical winches into hydraulic winch systems. Once installed on the machine, these kits allow the operator to manage the winches that control the winding of the cables for the movement of the arm and for the descent/ascent of the hook using a single joystick.
The success that this product has gained in the market due to its effectiveness and reliability is such that SCAIP has already constructed and sold over 1,000 conversion kits worldwide.
